Dr. Robert Bowman, USAF Lt. Colonel (retired), the nation's first strategic defense initiative (SDI) director, speaks Tuesday, 9-29-09, Central Connecticut State University, 1615 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT on: "Christian Theology and War: The Constitution, US Foreign Policy, and US Military Policy in Crisis"; Marcus White Hall Living Room, 2 PM. Admission is free and open to the public. The LA Times says Dr. Bowman is the best speaker in America.
Dr. Bowman served Presidents Ford and Carter and is a world renowned expert on national defense. He holds the PhD in aerospace and nuclear engineering from Cal Tech, flew 101 combat missions in Vietnam, commanded USAF tactical nuclear forces in S. Korea after Vietnam, and has received numerous academic, professional and civic awards for high military and humanitarian achievement. Dr. Bowman ran for president in 2000 and US House in 2006 (FL). He leads "The Patriots", a public service non-profit organization of military and civilian leaders opposed to erosion of The Constitution, illegal and immoral foreign wars such as in Afghanistan and Iraq, failure to impeach GW Bush for treason, and failure of the US military to counsel its members to uphold their oaths to the Constitution by refusing illegal orders.
The speech will last about 50 minutes with 25 minutes of Q&A following. It is sponsored by the CCSU Department of Philosophy.
Dr. Bowman is available for press interviews after the Q&A, and for CT radio or TV interviews between Noon and 5 PM, 9-28-09, and between 9 AM and Noon 9-29-09.

Heroes sacrifice it all for the greater good of everyone around them that is at risk. Regardless of what they believe is going to happen to them. On September 11th 2001, rescue workers from the New York Fire Department, Police Department, National Guard, amongst many others put it all on the line. Many were lost.
Many we’re losing. “Any nation that does not honor its heroes will not long endure.” –Abraham Lincoln. Today, thousands of those same rescue workers are being denied health care by the government.
It’s up to people like you and I to honor our heroes, by helping them in obtaining something they un-deniably deserve – healthcare. So on 9/11/09 we are having a money bomb in just a small way to honor the heroes that were there for our country in a most peril time, please find it in your heart to put something aside for those who put it all on the line and now, you can be the hero. We Demand Transparency Conference 9/11-13 '09 NYC

As a candidate, Barack Obama promised a new standard of government "transparency." But nothing changed. We don't know where our TARP money went, the Federal Reserve Bank refuses to be audited by Congress, and the City of New York is fighting efforts by 9/11 family members to get a new 9/11 investigation.
We have an unfair economic system. It has to manipulate the people to keep going. It tricks people into supporting war. 9/11 was stage-managed by the upper echelons of an out-of-control military/industrial complex. There’s a cancer in our country, a cancer of death-worship, violence, secrecy, and clandestine operations.
Transparency is the antidote. Transparency is a prerequisite of true democracy. The call for transparency helped dissolve the tyranny of the Iron Curtain.
The 9/11 Truth Movement is fired up and enraged by the failures of our government and media to investigate 9/11. We are about peace, truth and a new economics.
