Lt. Col. Robert Bowman At Central University 

LSDI DIRECTOR DR. ROBERT BOWMAN TO SPEAK AT CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY TUESDAY, 9-29-09, 2 PM

Dr. Robert Bowman, USAF Lt. Colonel (retired), the nation's first strategic defense initiative (SDI) director, speaks Tuesday, 9-29-09, Central Connecticut State University, 1615 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT on: "Christian Theology and War: The Constitution, US Foreign Policy, and US Military Policy in Crisis"; Marcus White Hall Living Room, 2 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.  The LA Times says Dr. Bowman is the best speaker in America.

Dr. Bowman served Presidents Ford and Carter and is a world renowned expert on national defense. He holds the PhD in aerospace and nuclear engineering from Cal Tech, flew 101 combat missions in Vietnam, commanded USAF tactical nuclear forces in S. Korea after Vietnam, and has received numerous academic, professional and civic awards for high military and humanitarian achievement. Dr. Bowman ran for president in 2000 and US House in 2006 (FL). He leads "The Patriots", a public service non-profit organization of military and civilian leaders opposed to erosion of The Constitution, illegal and immoral foreign wars such as in Afghanistan and Iraq, failure to impeach GW Bush for treason, and failure of the US military to counsel its members to uphold their oaths to the Constitution by refusing illegal orders.


The speech will last about 50 minutes with 25 minutes of Q&A following. It is sponsored by the CCSU Department of Philosophy.


Dr. Bowman is available for press interviews after the Q&A, and for CT radio or TV interviews between Noon and 5 PM, 9-28-09, and between 9 AM and Noon 9-29-09.
